Victory Flag :Shan State gears up for the Student Sports Festival

In preparation for the upcoming 2023-2024 Academic Year Student Sports Festival, Shan State is set to send a contingent of 112 players to compete in various sports at Nay Pyi Taw Wunna Theikdhi Stadium and Lewe Youth Training Camp from December 4th to 15th.

These athletes have emerged victorious among 633 participants from township, district, and state-level competitions. The contingent will engage in the competition across seven sports events, namely football, volleyball, track and field, Sepak Takraw, basketball, badminton, and table tennis.

On Friday, the athletes received guidance from Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, who encouraged them to give their best efforts and bring honor to Shan State. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister presented the victory flag and honorary cash awards to the sports contingent.
