Work Undertakings: Assistance for IDPs & crop cultivation in Kachin State

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met with displaced household members from Waing Maw Township of Myitkyina District in Kachin State who are taking refuge in St.Joseph (RC) camp on Wednesday evening.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister encouraged them and provided arrangements to meet their needs as soon as possible.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister and officials provided 10 million kyats for 126 households including 517 population who temporarily fled from ShweNyaung Pin, Aung Myay-1 and 2, Naung Si Paw, Kazu, Dabbyan, Gahrayan, TarLawgyi, Kharshi, NaungPatain and Wah Shao villages of Waing Maw Township.
After that, the displaced persons and the camp in charge submitted their needs and difficulties, and the Chief Minister coordinated and fulfilled their requirements.
Then, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction of temporary shelters in the compound of RC church in Makhoyan village for additional households reported by the in-charges of the camps, and provided 15.6 million kyats.
After that, the Chief Minister and officials arrived back at the Myitkyina Township and viewed round the additional crop cultivation in BalaMinhtin Model Plantation field.
