World Internet Conference: MOI Union Minister left for PRC to attend WIC

The Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn left for the People’s Republic of China by Air at 11:30 AM on 6th November from Yangon International Airport to attend [The 2023 World Internet Conference – (WIC) Wuzhen Summit] which will be held from 8th to 10th November, 2023 at Wuzhen of Zhejiang Province.

The Union Minister and delegation members were seen off by the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Myanmar and the officials concerned of the Ministry of Information at the Airport.

The 2023 World Internet Conference – (WIC) will be organized under the theme of “Creating an inclusive and Resilient Digital World Beneficial to All - Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace” and the 20 sub-forums on a wide range of hot issues related to the internet, including digital cooperation on the Global Development Initiative, the collaborative transformation of digitalization and green development, artificial intelligence, computing networks, Cybersecurity, data governance, youth and digital future, digital literacy and competency enhancement, e-commerce development in new form, digital economy etc.
