Xi revisits village 15 years after its green development

Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday revisited a village after its green development. In Yucun Village, Anji County of east China's Zhejiang Province, Xi talked with villagers and learned about the huge changes brought about by advancing green development.

In 2005, it was in this mountainous village Xi proposed the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. Adhering to this concept for the past 15 years, the village has got rid of its old polluted look and turned into a state 4A-level scenic spot. In this village of 280 households, the annual per capital income of the villagers reached 49,598 yuan in 2019.
