160 exotic animals seized from passenger at Peru airport

Peruvian authorities opened cans, flasks and other containers holding 160 exotic animals including snakes, turtles and spiders that were seized at the international airport serving the capital Lima.

The animals were confiscated from a passenger traveling from Miami whose final destination was an unspecified Asian country, according to the National Forestry and Wildlife Service.
