Better Transportation: New concrete road in Yoe Go Village

A new concrete road was commissioned into service at Yoe Go village tract of Mawlamyaing Township on Sunday, as a gesture of hailing the 50th anniversary Golden Jubilee of Mon State Day, which falls on 19th March.
Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the opening ceremony of new facility.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Chief Minister unveiled the Mon State Government’s plans that it has been working as a priority for rural development in Mon State and the balanced development of urban and rural areas. He emphasized the importance of smooth transportation since it plays key role for the regional development.
The Chief Minster called for cooperative efforts in ensuring maintenance of roads and bridges in a sustainable way for regional development.
The new concreted road project was implemented with 2023 - 2024 FY state capital funds. The new facility could bring lots of benefits to the locals and visitors and transportation of industrial raw materials and rubber products, contributing to the improvement of the living and economic life of the locals.
