Blinken lands in Mexico to meet president over migration crisis

Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and other US officials arrived in Mexico on Thursday to meet with President Andres Lopez Obrador for the migration crisis.

Speaking ahead of the summit he had called for more efforts to address the root causes of migration and warned that it could become a key issue in the 2024 US election.
