Blood Donation: 13th time of contribution for live saving

Myanmar Post and Telecommunication (MPT) under the Ministry of Transport and Communications organized a collective blood donation ceremony at 1,000-bedded Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital on Friday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister General Mya TunOo, together with Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Ministers and officials, visited the hospital to encourage the blood donors, including staff of MPT and volunteers, altogether 60. They also provided nutrition foods and medicines to the blood donors.

MPT organized its 13th Blood Donation Ceremony at the respective hospitals and Blood Units in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Taninthayi, Shan State (East) and (North) with the participation of 406 donors.
