Bustling Jilin market heightens Spring Festival atmosphere

An outdoor market added to the festive vibe in Da’an City of northeast China’s Jilin Province, enabling tourists to buy Spring Festival goods, watch ice sculptures and light shows, and enjoy local snacks. The Spring Festival, known as the Chinese New Year, will fall on Feb 10th this year.

The folk park, where the market is being held, has been adorned with exquisite ice sculptures and colorful lanterns. The market will continue until the end of the Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 24th. The statistics provided by the park showed that the number of tourists from other places has increased by sevenfold compared to that of the same period last year.
