Ceremony of Signing a Contract: Contract for electricity generation and distribution signed

A ceremony of signing first revised agreement regarding generation and distribution of electricity in Dawei District and Myeik Township entered into between Taninthayi Region Government and Petro & Trans Co.,Ltd was held at the meeting hall of the Region Government Office in Dawei Township at 9 AM on 6th March.

Speaking on the occasion, the Region Chief Minister U MyatKo said that after expiring 4 years of contract on generation and distribution of electricity in Dawei District and Myeik Township, as the region government will continue in the cooperation, if the generation and distribution of electricity becomes the required Second Wave Gat Turbine under the circumstances, it’s needed to prepare the ways to carry out substituted operation and the installation of further cables.

Next, the first revised agreement regarding generation and distribution of electricity in Dawei District and Myeik Township between Taninthayi Region Government and Petro & Trans Co.,Ltdwas signed. Then, the Chief Minister, Chief Justice of the Region High Court, region ministers, departmental officials and board of directors of Petro & Trans Co.,Ltd posed for the documentary photo, it’s reported.
