Chin National Day: Celebration held in Ayeyawady Region

The Ayeyawaddy Region Chin National Literature and Culture Committee organized the 76th Anniversary of Chin National Day in Nga Pu Taw Township of Ayeyawaddy Region on February 20th.

During the ceremony, the Chairperson delivered a speech after opening the ceremony by striking the Mingalar gong three times. This was followed by greetings extended by the Ayeyawaddy Region Chief Minister and Commander of the Western Command.

The Ethnic Affairs Minister later read out the message sent by Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs JengPhangNawTaung for Chin National Day ceremony. And, the Chairman of Chin Literature and Culture Committee made explanation on the purpose of holding the Chin National Day.

That was followed by the clarification about Chin National flag by one of the Chin nationals. Then, the Secretary of Chin Literature and Culture Committee expressed words of thank. The ceremony was concluded after the performances of Chin traditional dance.
