China Trip: Myanmar delegation to attend 5th World Media Summit

Myanmar delegation led by the MRTV Director General of the Ministry of Information U Ye Naing left for China on Friday morning.

The trip is to attend the 5th World Media Summit in Guangzhou and Kunming from the 1st to the 8th of December. The delegation was seen off by officials from the Ministry and Xinhua News Agency in Yangon at the Yangon International Airport.

It’s reported that opening of the 5th World Media Summit is set to be held in Guangzhou along with plenary sessions from the 1st to 4th of December. The Summit attracting 350 officials and media persons will continue in Kunming starting from the 5th of December.  It’s learnt that the 2nd Elephant International Communications Forum will also be held.
