Indian Prime Minister Modi dedicated the expanded world-class integrated Terminal 1 (T 1) of Delhi Airport to the nation on Sunday.

Delhi Airport stands among elite global hubs, boasting a 100 million passengers annually capacity. The expansion work was carried out as per the Master Plan 2016 as Delhi Airport witnessed a massive surge in the Air Traffic Movements and passenger numbers, exceeding projections.

With the expanded T1, Delhi Airport joins the elite club of airports having 100 million passengers annually capacity globally. T1 can serve 40 million passengers per annum, more than double its previous capacity.
