Dominican PM Roosevelt Skerrit arrived in Beijing for an official visit to China

Dominican Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit landed in Beijing Saturday morning, marking the start of his visit to China from 23rd to 29th of March.

According to the Chinese Foreign Minister, Chinese President Xi Jinping will meet with Prime Minister Skerrit during his visit. Chinese Premier Li Qiang will hold a welcoming ceremony for him, and the two leaders will have talks and jointly attend the signing ceremony of cooperation documents. 

Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee will also meet with Skerrit. This year marks the 20th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
