Efforts for Kachin State: Chief Minister provides aid and holds meetings

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan accompanied by concerned officials visited the Roman Catholic office in Bhamo Township, presented a bouquet to the bishop and provided 80 bags of rice on Saturday.
In Mansi Township, the Chief Minster and officials opened the asphalt concrete section on the Mandalay-Lashio-Bhamo-Myitkyina Road constructed with the State budget of 1.46 billion Kyats in the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
At the town hall, he met with religious leaders, ethnic literature and culture groups, departmental officials and ward/Village administrators and called for efforts for stability and regional development.
And, the Chief Minister provided 25 bags of rice for Roman Catholic and Baptist churches, 50 bags of rice for departmental officials and basic foodstuffs for the ethnic literature and culture groups.
In Bhamo Township, the Chief Minister met with farmers and growers and explained programmes for them with the State Economic Promotion Fund and provided inputs. There, he also inspected plantation processes.
In ManPha Village, the Chief Minister visited a rice mill and dryer and heard report. At the Technological University (Bhamo), he met with faculty members for successful opening of the 2023-2024 academic year second semester courses and provided bags of rice and cash assistance.
In the meeting with agriculture, livestock and fuel oil entrepreneurs, the Chief Minister called for cooperation on stability and regional development works and provided 20 million Kyats for temporarily displaced persons.
