One of the illegal destructive media outlets, Khit Thit Media is deliberately spreading misinformation through social media platforms alleging that a total of 107 Muslin men aged between 18 and 35 from Kyauk Ta Lone rehabilitation camp in Kyauk Phyu Township of Rakhine State were abducted by security forces.

In response to this fake news, a security official from Kyauk Phyu Township refuted the allegations, asserting that this news is fabricated leading to misunderstandings. The true incident is that AA insurgents launched arson attacks on Muslin villages and threatened the residents to support their terror acts instead of aligning with Tatmadaw.

As Tatmadaw is making collaborative efforts with the Muslin social organizations in conducting rehabilitation activities, the malicious destructive media outlets are intentionally spreading misinformation to exploit the innocent minds of the public.
