Fake News : Refutation of alleged Tatmadaw air strike

Fake news circulating on social media alleges that the Tatmadaw launched an air strike at Holm Village in Paletwa Township of Chin State on January 29th, resulting in 7 deaths and extensive damage to houses.

In response to these claims, a local security official has refuted the occurrence of an air strike on that day. The official asserted that the Tatmadaw is committed to safeguarding the lives and properties of the people while fulfilling its national defense and security duties.

The subversive media intentionally fabricated the fake news with ill intentions to tarnish the image of the Tatmadaw and to sow discord among the Tatmadaw and the local populace.
