False Claim: Government reports over misleading actions

The illegal destructive media outlet “Khit Thit Media” is spreading fake news alleging that the Tatmadaw is evacuating the group leaders from Laukkai Township of northern Shan state by the helicopters who are engaging in the online financial fraud.

In fact, the government enacted the laws to control online money scams and gambling. Also, those who are committing such online scams and fraud are being examined and taken actions effectively. Moreover, efforts are being made for handing over of the detained online fraudsters to their respective home countries in line with the rules and regulations.

But, the illegal destructive Medias and some ethnic armed groups are making propagation, disseminating fake news on the international arena to mislead the people over the government and Tatmadaw, ignoring the government’s actions on the online scams and fraud in line with the laws.
