Foreign Ministers participate in G20 Summit in Rio

Foreign ministers attend the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting brought together top diplomats including US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell.

Among the main issues addressed is the conflict between Israel and Hamas, on which they expressed broad support for the two-state solution to resolve the Middle East conflict. Some countries attending the G20 summit also discussed the critical situation in violence-plagued Haiti and shared a willingness to "commit" to sending help to "renew security" in the country.
