China’s State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters raised the emergency response level for flooding in Guangdong Province on Sunday. The emergency response for flooding has been upgraded from Level IV to Level III since Sunday. Persistent heavy rains have also triggered mountain torrents and other geological disasters, and flooded some urban areas in Guangdong.
