Inspection of EV charging station: MoI Union Minister Inspected EV Charging Stations

The Vice Chairman of National-level leading committee on the development of electric vehicles and related business, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than together with the officials inspected EV Charging Stations in front of Tha Pyay Kone Market and Municipal Guest House in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council area in the afternoon on Wednesday.

During the inspection, the Union Minister made instructions to set up full access of charging systems for different types of EVs, to prepare for making instant changes based on the users’ suggestions, to draw the action plans for speedy responses when the unexpected situations occur during the process of charging, to make preparatory measures for extending Charging Stations as it could increase the use of EVs by people, to produce own Electric Vehicles by the companies that are being opened Charging Stations, to make timely report to the leading committee and 5 working committees when the difficulties encounter while performing EV related works, to fully set up fire extinguishing tools at the Charging stations and to make drills by drawing the implementation plans for the fire safety.

Afterwards, the Union Minster inspected the structure of EV Charging Stations and charging processes.
