Inspection Tour: Infrastructure development in Yangon Region

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and region government ministers, together with the region level departmental officials,made inspection on road construction works in Hlegu and Hmawbi Townships on Wednesday.

Firstly, the Region Chief Minister and party instructed the responsible officials to move and renew the school sign board of the Hlegu Education Degree College, to systematically set up the power lines and network cables and to make arrangements for the proper flow of drainages in front of the school.

Afterwards, they inspected the 3-furlong alsphat concrete paving works on Hlegu-Gyo Gone road, re-excavation of Nga Moe Yeik creek at 11-mile 3-furlong on the express way, and the designated area for constructing the retaining wall near Ngarsu Taung village, as well as the renovation measures at Pyidaungsu Conference Hall using the fund of Urban and Housing Development Department. The Chief Minister gave instructions to be clean and tidy in the surrounding vicinity.

Continuously, the Union Minister and party arrived at the intersection between Ngarsutaung and Nyaunghnapin roads where they instructed officials to pave concrete for the smooth transportation access.

Later, they inspected the expansion works of Sattwartaw-Nyaunghnapin road including the construction works of ditch bridge at the entrance of the village, construction of new concrete road over the damaged site and two new Box Culverts  near the Check Point at No.4 road intersection on Yangon-Pyay road and made necessary instructions.
