Inspection tour: Kachin State CM inspected agricultural development

As Kachin State Government is actively working on ensuring local food sufficiency, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan accompanied by state ministers and departmental officials made inspections in Pamatte Field and Shwe Aik Field located in Pamattee Ward, Myitkyina Township.

There, the Chief Minister and party visited Field No. 75 of Shwe Aik Field and  inspected livestock farm, fish farming, various bean and vegetable plantations and met with the local farmers and growers. Then, the Chief Minister gave words of encouragement and provided medicines for livestock farms. Additionally, the Chief Minister coordinated requirements on accessing agricultural water and electricity, allocation of State Economic Promotion Fund and providing technological assistances for plantations, livestock breeding and fish farming.

Then, the Chief Minister and party visited the poultry farm in Pamatte North-East Field initiated by State Economic Promotion Fund and provided medicine for the farm. Afterward, the Chief Minister inspected the seasonal vegetable plantations of the field and gave necessary instructions.

The Chief Minister and party also oversaw the collective cleaning tasks carried out by personnel from Township Development Committee along strand road near Myitkyina municipal jetty at 7:30 Am on the same day.
