Inspection Tour: Union Minister inspects labour related facilities in Yangon

Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung on Saturday visited Skill Training Institute in Dagon Myothit (North) Township to oversee the conducting of training for oversea job guide. They also observed the process of issuing Oversea Workers Identity Card (OWIC), sending of workers to Korea through Employment Permit System (EPS).

The Union Minister and party later visited Center for Vocational Training in Thingangyun Township, and heard reports on the work undertakings of the center. The Union Minister instructed to provide advance training for the workers to get technical level.

On arrival at the Workers’ Hospital in Tamwe Township where the renovation works are in progress, the Union Minister inspected provided of medical treatment to the insured workers, and medical wards. In meeting with the Acting Medical Superintendent and staff, the Union Minister instructed to provide quality health care services to the insured workers, and pledged to fulfill the needs as much as possible.
