Inter-Ministerial sports competitions: SAC members awarded the medals and prizes

In commemoration of 2024 76th Independence Day, Inter-Ministerial Sepak Takraw (Men) Competition organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs was held at the Wunnatheiddi stadium (c) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 2nd January, 2024 and the members of State Administration Council watched the competitions and awarded the prizes. The event was attended by the SAC members Porel Aung Thein, U Yang Kyaw, Union Minister U Min Thein Zan, Deputy Ministers, departmental officials watched the competition.

First, the final match of Inter-Ministerial Sepak Takraw (Men) Competition between the Ministry of Home Affairs Team and Ministry of Border Affairs Team was played and the Ministry of Border Affairs Team beat with 2-1 against the Ministry of Home Affairs Team.

At the prize awarding ceremony, Deputy ministers U Myo Hlaing and Ma-J Gen. Phyo Thant awarded the individual medal and cash prize to the fourth and third prizes winners teams.SAC member U Yan Kyaw awarded the individual medal and cash prize to the Second prize winner team of the Ministry of Home Affairs Team.

The SAC member Porel Aung Thein awarded the championship trophy together with individual medal and cash prize. Similarly, on the same day, the SAC members Daw Dwe Bu, Dr. Hmu Htan, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers and departmental officials watched the final match of Inter-Ministerial Futsal (Men) competition held at the Futsal Court of Wunnatheiddi Stadium.

At the competition, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Team beat the Ministry of Planning and Finance with 9-8 goals. At the prize awarding ceremony, the Deputy Ministers U Khin Maung Win and U Zin Min Htet awarded the individual medal and cash prize to the winners of best goal keeper prize and the best player prize.

Union Minister Dr. Soe win awarded the cash prize of 500,000 Kyats to the fourth prize winner team of the Ministry of Agricultural, Livestock and Irrigation and the Union Minister U Win Shein awarded the individual medals and cash prize to the third prize winner team of Ministry of Home Affairs.

SAC member Dr. Hmu Htan awarded the individual medals and cash prize to the second prize winner team of the Ministry of Planning and Finance.SAC member Daw Dwe Bu awarded the Championship Trophy together with individual medals and cash prize to the first prize winner team of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.

Organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs in commemoration of 2024 76th Anniversary of Independence Day, the Inter-Ministerial Sports Competitions including U-25 Men/Women Football competition, Volleyball (Men/Women), Sepak Takraw (Men), Futsal (Men), htoke see toe or Hopscratch game and Tug of War are being held and the final matches of htoke see toe, volleyball and football competitions will be held on 3rd January.
