Livestock Breeding Initiatives: Efforts for strengthening rural communities

The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation is engaged in promoting the social and economic status of rural communities by creating employment opportunities and income generation programs through livestock breeding businesses.

On Saturday, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi held a meeting with livestock entrepreneurs, breeders, and enthusiasts who are involved in businesses supported by the State Economic Development Fund in Lewe Township.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister highlighted ongoing efforts aimed at the development of the livestock sector, emphasizing the production of quality products to meet market demand. He called upon all stakeholders to cooperate for the smooth execution of the entire supply chain process.

Following the meeting, the Deputy Minister conducted inspections of poultry farms in Kasunkhin and Rathaetaung Villages.
