Los Angeles mayor visits Paris 2024 Olympic Village

Mayor of Los Angeles, and Mayor of Saint-Denis, visit the Paris 2024 summer Games' Olympic Village.

Karen Bass, mayor of Los Angeles said "The diversity here, culturally but also economically, so that there will be market rate as well as affordable housing that's here, I think that's a great example. We need to see how we can help accelerate some of our projects that are already underway, but it's an opportunity also for council president and council members to weigh in."

The 52-hectare village, located just north of Central Paris stretches across three  towns and features all the necessary facilities and services.. It will host 14,500 athletes and entourage members participating in the Olympic Games, then a further 9,000 athletes and entourage members during the Paralympic Games.
