Meeting with farmers: MoALI UM met with the farmers in Zayyarthiri Township

The meeting with the farmers in Zayyarthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area was attended by the Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, Deputy Minister U Bo Bo Kyaw and departmental officials in the morning on the 2nd of January.

At the meeting, the Union Minister gave necessary suggestions to the farmers in their agricultural works and the necessary assistance to be provided by the relevant departments.

Next, the attendee farmers reported the requirements regarding with the work and the directors General of relevant departments clarified the methods for the improvement of crops production without damaging the soil layer, requirements to make efforts for development of agricultural products adaptable to the natural environment and the crucial role of Water Utilization Groups (WUG) to be accessible water equally for all agricultural fields included in the water utilization area.
