Men’s Sepak Takraw (Trio) Event : Inter-University Sports Competition

Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education is organizing the 2023-2024 Academic Year Inter-University Sports Competition. On January 17th, Semi Final and Final competitions of Men’s Sepak Takraw (trio) event took place at the boxing hall of the Wunna Theikdi Stadium with the presence of Union Minister Dr. Nyunt Pe, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Min Thein Zan, officials, students and invited guests.

Sepak Takraw team from Yadana Pon University won the first prize, while second prize went to Sagging University and third prize to Myitkyina University and Mawlamyine University respectively. This was followed by presenting awards to the first prize winner team of Yadana Pon University and best player prizes.

Yadana Pon University team accepted the championship trophy of Men’s Sepak Takraw event presented by the Union Minister for Education. It’s reported that Final Competition and awarding ceremony of Men’s Football Tournament will be held at Training Ground No.3 of Wunna Theikdi Stadium on January 18th.
