Mexico City's Chapultepec Zoo has debuted two new hyena cubs, a first for this zoo at the heart of the Mexican capital. The female cubs were born on April 10 and have already proven a hit with the public. In the wild hyenas can live up to 25 years and are a vital part of sub-Saharan Africa's ecosystem. Although they may resemble a dog, hyenas are from their own distinct carnivore group called Hyaenidae.
