Misinformation : Ensuring security in the community

Rumors have spread regarding security forces allegedly conducting random arrests for porter jobs in towns and villages, with reports suggesting privileged treatment based on payment. State media occasionally addresses these false claims, aiming to maintain peace and security for the populace.

To ensure this, members of the security forces, the Myanmar Police Force, and administrative officers are scrutinizing guest lists in towns and villages. During this process, individuals failing to report guest lists, those not listed as household members, or those living without a household list are summoned to police stations and related departments for interrogation.

Action is taken in accordance with the law against those who fail to comply with regulations, while those adhering to the rules are released. Illegal and destructive media outlets disseminate fake news, aiming to instill panic among the public.
