Occasion of assigning duty: Bago Region CM assigned duty for plans and targets

As the economic anticipation of Bago region, the GDP growth is to be 3.9% for 2024-2025 fiscal year and the GDP Per Capita is 2.788 million Kyats in current price, according to the occasion of assigning duties for regional plans and targets held at the Tawwin Hantha Hall of the Bago Region Government in Bago Township in the afternoon on 25th April.
Speaking on the occasion, the Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win said that the regional plans for 2024-2025 fiscal year has been drawn and approved for the prosperity and food security, socio-economic development and people-centered sustainable development in the Region in line with the five point-roadmap and 12 objectives of the State and the assigning duties is needed to take as the extraordinary and profound duties without assuming as the normal routine works.
It’s needed to implement the tasks in the plans to be achieved with the monitoring and evaluation system and the supervising by the levels to expense systematically in line with the financial rules and procedures.
Next, the Chief Minister assigned duty for the agricultural sector to the staff officer of the Region Department of Agriculture, staff officer of Region Department of Industrial Supervision and Inspection for the industrial sector, Director of Region development Committee for Services sector,Chairmen of Bago, Nyaunglaypin, Taungoo, Pyay, Nattalin and Thayawady Districts for the target of investment plan and urged to implement the plans with collective effort.
The growth rate of regional plans and targets of Bago Region for 2024-2025 fiscal year is at 29.8% in agricultural sector, 30.8% in industrial sector, 39.4% in service sector. Although the anticipation for growth rate on the plans for 2023-2024 fiscal year is at 5.5%, the implementation for the growth rate was 7.3%, it’s learnt.
