Opening of refresher course: MoNREC Deputy Minister gave an opening remark

The Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Min Thu attended the opening ceremony of Staff Officer’s capacity enhancement refresher course batch No (12) held at the Department of Forest Research, Yayzin in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 26th February in Nay Pyi Taw and gave an opening remark.

In his opening remark, the Deputy Minister said that the refresher course is opened aiming at realizing the responsibilities of the Department of Forestry and taking leading role in the country’s reforming processes, enhancing capacity in the implementation of forestry works and becoming the good leadership who are responsible and accountable for the sustainability of the forest natural resources.All trainees are urged to make exerted effort to become the good civil service personnel who can well shoulder the interest of the own department and the country.

Also present at the opening ceremony were the permanent secretary, directors General, Rector, Deputy Directors General, officials concerned under the Ministry and the 20 trainees.
