Pakistan agrees with Iran to de-escalate tense situation: Islamabad

Pakistani Foreign Minister spoke with his Iranian counterpart on Friday and agreed to de-escalate the situation that emerged after strikes by both sides in each other's territories, said the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The two foreign ministers agreed that working-level cooperation and close coordination on counter-terrorism and other aspects of mutual concern should be strengthened.Both foreign ministers also discussed the return of the ambassadors of the two countries to their respective capitals, added the ministry.
