Regional development: Kachin State CM inspected regional development works

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan on Tuesday accompanied by the state ministers, state Avocate General and departmental officials conducted ground survey for completing implementations of the working processes in time of new extended office buildings implemented with Kachin State Fund  during the 2023-2024 FY on the compound of the State Government Office.

At first, Chief Minister and party viewed around the landscaping at Stone Garden and vegetable cultivation of staff on the compound of the office, urging all to emphasize cleaning and greening processes around the office. 

They then inspected the situations on construction of new extended 2-story RC CCTV control center with over 474 million kyats of 2023-2024 FY State Budget, completion of new Steel Structure building for security force members worth over 226 million kyats and construction of new 2-story RC office building with around 741 million kyats. After hearing the reports of the officials, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirement.

And, the Chief Minister and party also inspected the landscaping tasks and, Manaw ground and Manaw pole of the State Development Committee members for holding 77th Union Day which will fall on 12th February. In the afternoon, a work coordination meeting on high passing rate of the Grade-12 Matriculation exam for 2023-2024 Academic Year was held at Malikha Hall of the State Government Office.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that it is needed to emphasize for the security of Examination centers, transportation and he urged all to be able to sit the examination for all students in the state peacefully.

Upon the discussions and reports of the attendees, the Chief Minister coordinated the requirement. In the evening, the Chief Minister and party enjoyed the football match of Naung Yar FC Team and Kachin Youth FC Team at People’s Sport Ground in Myitkyina township.

And, the Chief Minister inspected Bala Minhtin Model plantation and Tatkone Field and coordinated the requirement.
