Regional Development Works: MOALI Union Minister tours in Tanintharyi Region

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung, along with Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U MyatKo and departmental officials conducted inspection on the cocoa cultivation and operational technical services at Perennial Crops Research and Development Farm (Maliwun) of Perennial Crops Division under the Department of Agriculture on Saturday evening.
During the inspection, the Union Minister called the relevant officials for the discussion on the needs of practical farming for farmers. Upon arrival at YuzanaPalm Oil Mill of KhaMaukGyi Township, the Union Minister and party oversaw palm oil plantation, seedlings, crudepalm oil factory and palm pulp production as natural fertilizer.
The officials of the company reportedonnew establishment of more crude palm oil factories, and inspected the site where the refined palm oil factory will be constructed.
In the evening, the Union Minister met with the Region, District and Township level departmental personnel at MyintzuThaka Hall of Kawthaung Township and coordinated the needs upon the reports.
During the meeting, He urged all to strive for boosting domestic agricultural production and food sufficiency.
