Response to Fake News: Illegal and subversive media outlet spreading fake news

One of the illegal and subversive media outlets is propagating fake news, alleging that security forces launched a heavy weapon attack on PyaSaKhan Village in Tandaungyi Township of Kayin State on the 2nd of May, and the attack left more than 3 people dead and many others injured.
Also, many houses were destroyed. Regarding the news, a security member stressed that the news is not true as the security forces did not launch the attack on the Village and there’s no fighting on that day.
As the security forces are protecting the lives and properties of the people and conducting the security measures for prevailing peace in the region, malicious news media are spreading fake news intentionally in order to make the public panic.
