Rural Development :New Concrete Road in Myaungmya opened

Honouring the 77th Anniversary of Union Day, the Ayeyarwaddy Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win attended the new concrete road opening ceremony at PayThalat Kone-Pyin Ywa village in Myaungmya Township on February 12th.

First, a ceremonial ribbon cutting was conducted by Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win, Security and Border Affairs Minister, Minister for Natural Resources and Director of the Department of Rural Development (Urban).

Then, the commemorative gifts were presented to the Region Chief Minister and documentary photos were taken.

Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister and party made inspection of the newly opened concrete road which is 6-mile and 4-furlong long. The construction started in 2018-2019 fiscal year by the Union Capital Fund and by the Ministry of Border Affairs and completed in 2023-2024 fiscal year.

Together with the Region Chief Minister, the Chairmen and members of Myaungmya Township Management Committees, departmental officials and local residents were also in presence.
