S.Korea's ceremony honouring Confucius

Seokjeon Daeje which is a festival in honor of Confucius was held in Seoul on 14th March.

The ceremonial rite is performed twice annually to pay homage to the Chinese sage Confucius and other renowned Confucian figures at Confucian sites across South Korea on Confucius' birthday in fall and the anniversary of his death in spring. The ceremony took place in front of dozens of audiences. Students from Sungkyunkwan University were also present to help with the ceremony.
