Sports for Students: Summer Sports Trainings opens in Kyaukpadaung

In Kyaukpaduang Township of Mandalay Region, the complementary summer sports trainings are being given for the students with the joint efforts of Township Sports and Physical Education Department, Department of Basic Education and Township Information and Public Relations Department.
Five kinds of summer sports classes including Myanmar Thaing (Traditional Martial Arts) are being opened for free by Township Sports and Physical Education Department.
Totaling 167 trainees are willingly joining the classes; 60 in soccer, 27 in Karate, 18 in Volleyball, 22 in Physical Fitness Dance and 33 in MyanmaThaing respectively.
Trainer, Win Min Than said "It is 3-Week long from 1st to 21st of March, training 2 hours a day between 7:30 and 9:30 am for five different sports such as Soccer, Volleyball, MyanmaThaing, Karate and Physical Fitness Dance."
Student, Naing Phyo Linn said "I am joining soccer class here not to waste my summer holiday period. I was expecting to become Myanmar’s elite soccer player and I’ll pursue it. I feel so grateful of organizing those summer sports training for us. "
To be able to spend time effectively during the summer holidays, to emerge the amateur players with hidden talent and to bring out the new generation outstanding athletes, the Summer Training Courses will be conducted for 3 weeks.
