Spreading disinformation: Clarifying the false news

One of the destructive media outlets Western News is contributing false news on social media, stating that houses and booths in Min Pyar and Yanbye Townships were caught fire due to heavy weapons launched by Tatmadaw.

Relating with this false news, it is learnt that there were exchanged of fire with AA terrorists at about 4 am on the morning of January 2nd and the terrorists retreated with injuries. According to the security official, Tatmadaw did not launch attack to the said Townships.

Destructive media are disseminating false news intentionally aiming to harm peace and stability of the country and to cause fear and panic among the local ethnic people.
