Trade and Quality Standards: Visit to Myeik Border Trade Association

Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn held a meeting with departmental personnel and exporters at the Myeik Border Trade Association on Friday. He urged exporters to prioritize the production of high-quality local products to align with international market standards. Additionally, he called for collaborative efforts with all stakeholders to bolster production and facilitate the exchange of trade data.

Following the meeting, the Union Minister and party visited PahtawPahtet Island, where they observed operations at Cold Storage Factories, a Fish Processing Plant, a solar power generator, and a prawn breeding farm. During the tour, the Union Minister emphasized the necessity of striving for market penetration while meeting the prescribed standards of quality.
