US and Philippines hold joint air force exercise

FA-50 fighter aircraft of the Philippines and F-16s of the United States Air Force on Thursday take part in a joint military exercise dubbed "Cope Thunder" at the Basa Air Base in the Philippines. Philippine Air Force Spokesperson said that one of the major objectives of this Cope Thunder 24-1 is to prepare the Philippine Air Force in future participation in international exercises.

And the Philippines is going to have its biggest participation so far in the Pitch Black exercise, which is expected to happen in Australia on July.
