3rd Day of Tazaungdaing Festival: Daytime Hot-Air Balloon Competition continued

The daytime hot-air balloons releasing competition continued at Ahwaiyar hot-air balloon ground on the 3rd day of Taunggyi Tazaungdaing festival in the afternoon of 23rd November with the participation of 7 competitor teams named Arr Buu , Nya Thone , YwarLal Luu Nauk , Lo Ywel , Arsenal , Arr Phaung and KanShae Ward.

The releases of daytime hot-air balloons featuring various types of two-legged and four legged animals such as white swan, sparrow, hawk, zebra, elephant, panda and  rhinoceros above the sky are seen ascetically pleasing to the eyes, encouraging visitors to return.

In the competition, local residents participated with their customized balloon designs not only just for winning prizes but also offering lights dedicated to the Lord Buddha. The release of daytime hot-air balloons will be continued till 27th November and hot air balloons depicting 37 two legged, 17 four legged and 9 groups of animals is set to be launched during the festive period.
