4th Relief Flight: Myanmar Nationals Who Stranded In Japan Brought Back Home

The 4th relief flight of All Nippon Airways (ANA) brought Myanmar citizens and their families who were stranded in Japan amidst COVID-19 pandemic from Narita International Airport in Tokyo to Yangon on 6th August.

A total of 169 Myanmar nationals including seamen were brought back home. Moreover, with the assistance of ODA/JICA of Japanese Government, the flight also took 23 Japanese experts and technicians who will take duties in Thilawa special Industrial Zone, East-West Economic Corridor Development Project, Magway General Hospital Project, Diagnostics and Research Laboratory Project, electrical upgrading project, financial market development, Thilawa Economic Zone Transportation Project and Bago River Bridge Construction Project and 7 diplomats and staffs from Japanese Embassy in Yangon, altogether 30.

For the smooth transportation and immigration process, Myanmar Embassy, All Nippon Airways, the aviation staffs and the Immigration staffs helped them at the airport.
