8th Border Trade Fair: Event underway in China from 18 to 24 of October

Hosted by the China’s Yunnan International Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the 2023 China Baoshan Tengchong 8th Border Trade Fair is underway at Wenzhi Guangchang Plaza from the 18th to the 24th of October.

Themed "Openness, Cooperation, Win-Win", the fair is jointly organized by Baoshan City Council and Tengchong City Council with the aim to promote the international trade. More than 650 booths are on display on a total trade fair area of about 61,000 square meters.
In the fair, there’re 10 exhibition venues showcasing the Yunnan-Mekong Cooperation Convention and Alliance Exhibition, special business, domestic trade fair, international trade fair, multi-purpose trade fair, mahogany furniture exhibition, and special food exhibition, car showroom and public recreation area.
About 600 enterprises from Viet Nam, Thailand, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and African countries have been invited to participate. Thousands of local products from various countries are on sale in the trade fair.
The displayed products include foodstuff, basic necessities, household electrical appliances, solar energy products, electric cars, industrial and electrical products, automobile spare parts, motorcycle and spare parts, jewelry and jade, mahogany furniture, traditional attires and its accessories and cultural heritage of various countries.
The event is also held with the discussions related to invitation to new investments and trade cooperation, followed by a variety of entertainment program.
