Capacity Building: MOEP conducts Training Courses for the staff

The Ministry of Electric Power conducted a skill training courses for capacity building of the staff. The closing ceremony of the training course on administrative works and refresher course for the Staff Officers (Engineer) took place on Thursday.

Union Minister U Thaung Han attended the ceremony, held at Nay PyiTaw Central Training School. In his speech, the Union Minister said human resources development is fundamental for development of the nation. The government is giving priority for development of human resources.

The Ministry is also striving for capacity building of the staff by sending scholar program to abroad, seminars, workshops and paper reading sessions. Moreover, training courses are being conducted in the ministry and also let the staff attend the training courses conducted by other departments.

He urged the trainees to apply the knowledge gained from the training effectively in the work place. The Union Minister and the Deputy Minister later presented prizes to the outstanding award winners and the completion certificates.
