Capacity Enhancement: Training on statistical skills for the staff

The closing ceremony of capacity building training No. (1/2022) of statistical skills for the staff was held at U Ottama hall in Sittway on Thursday.

At the event, Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min said that the course was organized by the State Government and aimed to understand and effectually apply financial procedures and statistical data, to enhance work performance and to carry out effectively the office works.

Course No. (2/2022) will continue to be opened and 50 trainees from the remaining departments and organizations will attend. He called for the trainees to share the knowledge gained from the course, to strive for capacity enhancement and to apply effectively statistical data.

The State Chief Minister and the Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court and the State Ministers presented awards to outstanding trainees. The State Cabinet members and trainers also presented conclusion certificates and the commemorative gifts were also presented.

After the ceremony, the State cabinet members and the State level departmental heads had lunch together with trainees. 50 trainees from 48 departments and organizations attended the course that last the 19th October to 29th November and 26 instructors from 16 departments and organizations conducted 18 subjects.
