Closing ceremony of AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023

Qatar’s Amir Al-Thani attended the closing ceremony of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 on Saturday. The Amir crowned Qatar national football team with AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 trophy following their 3-1 victory over the brotherly team of Jordan.

The presentation ceremony was attended by the FIFA president, the AFC president, Emir of Qatar, Crown Prince of Jordan among other dignitaries. Qatar player Afif’s hat-trick took this tournament’s tally to eight goals that would give him the coveted golden boot. Qatar became the first side in 20 years to win back-to-back titles since Japan’s title win in 2004.
