COVID-19 Update: 120 New Cases Reported At 8 P.M. On January 26

The Ministry of Health has been accelerating COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment measures and procedures. The Ministry reported 120 new COVID-19 cases at 8 p.m. on Wednesday after testing 10,291 patients within 24 hours.

110 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Myanmar have reached 534,503 with 19,310 deaths and 512,581 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospitals.The World’s worst-hit countries are the United States of America, India, Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Russian Federation, Turkey, Italy, Spain and Germany, according to the World Health Organization. Globally, as of 5:30pm CET, 26 January 2022, there have been over 356 million confirmed cases of COVID-19, including over 5.61 million deaths.
